Fall Fashion: From 9-5 and Beyond

An Dyer from Haute Pink posted about her Fall looks for the office. Although she typically doesn’t dress up for the office, she decided to give it a shot in a Karen Kane Parisian Check Crossover Top (3L22120) and London Calling Jacket (3L49093). She paired the two with a green skirt and loved the way she looked! She mentioned she wants to start dressing up for work more often, and would even wear an outfit like this to brunch, or dinner with her parents. Read her full post on Haute Pink.

This top and jacket, like so many Karen Kane pieces, are great pieces to take you straight from work to dinner. For more work-appropriate pieces, check out the Career Shop on the Karen Kane website.

Back to School Fashion Lesson from Karen Kane

It’s that time of year again: back to school season. Whether or not you’re actually a student, SheKnows’ story on “What makes a great school outfit” is great advice for anyone this fall. Karen Kane was one of the designers they asked for expert advice. Here’s what she said:

Dont be afraid to dress up

“On the first day of school, you want to stand out without looking ‘too cool for school.’ I always think you look your best when you feel your best, so I’d go with a favorite pair of jeans, a colorful blouse and some new booties. Save your sweats and laid-back looks for later in the year. The first day back is always more fun when you truly feel ‘dressed up’ for the occasion.” — Karen Kane

Check out some Karen Kane blouses and pants for the new school year -you’ll be sure to make a great impression.

Time To Shop…In Your Closet!

The Daily Muse’s article “Want a New Spring Wardrobe? Shop in Your Closet!” is all about looking at your clothes in a new light. Instead of going out and spending your last paycheck, buy basic pieces and accessories to help reinvent your old clothes. Hannah Baker, writer of the article, mixed her Karen Kane Zebra Print Tank Top with a white blazer and her Karen Kane Twill Skinny Jeans. This fun conversational tank is easy to match with and looks great when dressed up or down.

Another hot trend right now is bold stripes. Hannah matched a blue striped top with a red striped tank and her White Stretch Skinny Jeans. I must say this is quite the creative and bold look!
